The new format for the gut zoomer is challenging for patients to follow along. It is bubbly and format pushes sections onto multiple pages. It does not show the pathogens on the first page. There is little room for the provider to write notes. It looks "cartoonish" and unprofessional compared to the old format. It is also very daunting for the patient to see all bacteria that are out of range listed in one place. It's "scary" to them. And does not categorize it well. It is more helpful to have it in sections like previously, such as bacteria associated with SIBO all in one section. This format is also more challenging for our office admin to print for patients.
The same for the food sensitivity. We prefer to save these as 2 separate reports for the patient. The new format makes this challenging.
